Margaret Harper McCarthy is an assistant professor of theological anthropology at the John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She is the editor of its online quarterly review, Humanum, author of Recovering Origins: Adult Children of Divorce (forthcoming) and publishes regularly in Communio.
