Thomas Pavel

Thomas Pavel is the Gordon J. Laing Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus in Romance Languages and Literature, Comparative Literature, the Committee on Social Thought, Fundamentals, and Creative Writing at the University of Chicago. He is the author of many books in several languages, most recently The Lives of the Novel.
