McKenzie Brummond

McKenzie (Mac) Brummond is a senior majoring in the Program of Liberal Studies and minoring in theology and constitutional studies. Mac served as a Vision music mentor in 2016 and 2017 and plays cymbals in the Notre Dame Marching Band. This year, she has been blessed to work as a Church Life Intern at the McGrath Institute for Church Life, where she is working with Carolyn Pirtle on psalm composition and fostering a deeper understanding of the importance of the Liturgy of the Hours in the Church. For her senior thesis, Mac is exploring St. Augustine's theology of the psalms, synesthesia, and the Saint John's Bible. She hopes to pursue graduate studies in theology in the future.
