Ralph C. Wood spent 50 years in the collegiate classroom at Wake Forest, Samford, and Baylor before retiring in 2021. His eight books include those devoted to Flannery O’Connor, J.R.R. Tolkien, and G. K. Chesterton. In 2020 he received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Teaching by the Conference on Christianity and Literature.
